Zoe is the school’s invisible straight-A nerd. Nate is the football captain everyone wants. They can’t stand each other—until one freak accident swaps their bodies. To keep the secret, they have no choice but to live each other’s lives. Zoe finally sees what’s behind Nate’s perfect image: playing through injuries and a father who never stops pushing him. Nate, meanwhile, gets a brutal taste of the bullying and isolation Zoe faces every day. Just as they start seeing who the other really is, Zoe takes a crushing hit during a game. Nate storms onto the field in front of everyone, grabs her, and shouts—“Zoe!” The coach gets suspicious. Nate’s father is already heading their way. And their body-swap secret is seconds from blowing up.
