Vera Linden, a billionaire female CEO returning from overseas, disguises herself as a ragged village girl to attend her younger brother Leo Linden's Housewarming Party, to test whether Leo, whom she has not seen for ten years, is willing to recognize her as his sister. Leo passes the test, but his wife Tanya Wyatt's family, who are snobbish, humiliate Vera as a Beggar, and even force Leo to choose between family and marriage. Leo eventually chooses to protect his sister and gets divorced, unaware that this "poor sister" is the hidden queen who controls the business lifeline of Riverton City. While Tanya's family is busy currying favor with President Chandler, who gives them houses and bags, dreaming of a wealthy life, they have no idea that President Chandler is just a subordinate working for Vera, who has secretly paved a smooth path to success for her brother. When the "village girl" sister takes off her disguise, those who once trampled on her can only regret it deeply.
