The Prisoner on the Throne

As a child, Galo saw his father Kai die in Pharaoh Rameses' grip. Years later, wearing his father's face, Galo infiltrates the palace and uses the Pharaoh's madness against him. He endures torture, fakes his death, and returns with poison—only to find Rameses knew the truth all along. The Pharaoh drinks the poison willingly, handing Galo the throne and binding them together in death. Galo sits on the golden seat, finally avenged—but forever the dead tyrant's prisoner. He won the war. He lost his soul.
