Iris, bearer of the Primordial Flame, was betrayed and nearly killed by a dragon traitor. She fled and lived in hiding for four years, raising her son Finnegan alone—disguised as a plush dragon pendant she never removes. When the Dragon King Kael finds her working as a servant in his palace, he doesn't recognize the queen he lost. But the pendant knows. And so does the flame. She was his queen. She became his servant. She will be his everything.
