The Sword He Gave Her

Marshal Adrian of the Empire retired from public life for three years and married Elena. His wife was bold and valiant, determined to make her mark on the battlefield. Before her departure, Adrian gifted her a longsword forged from thousand-year cold iron. Three years later, Elena returned clad in silver armor, heavily pregnant, arm-in-arm with another man. She thought she married a quiet husband. She never knew she married the God of War.
