Three Years in Penitence

A mermaid princess was framed by her adopted sister and sent to a cruel penitence hall for three years. She lost her tail and was forced to wear a mechanical one. Her family forced her to marry the feared exiled King of the North Sea. He was secretly powerful—and at their wedding, he protected her and granted her the power of the North Sea. When her sister struck again, he saved her.
