After the fall of the King of Gods, his orphaned daughter Alicia hides her identity as a temple servant to escape assassination, while a priest's daughter, Selena, poses as the divine princess. The War God's family is tasked with protecting her and arranges for the War God's son, Ariston, to marry her. But he considers her lowly, publicly breaks their engagement, and instead marries the outwardly glorious Selena. He believes he has married the divine princess and will soon ascend to the throne of Olympus——never realizing that the woman he abandoned is the true heir. Alicia turns around and marries a despised demigod, opens the divine treasury, and personally elevates him to the throne. The scumbag goes mad with regret: the one she marries will rule Olympus.
